EXHIBIT: “LET’S FALL IN LOVE WITH BIRDS”

This exhibits reveals a very positive story in conservation. Due to a fashion craze for the use of white plumes during the 18th and 19th century, many North Americas most beautiful birds were hunted to near extinction. This exhibit reveals how a few determined women, united in their love of birds, made conservation more fashionable than extinction.
